Simultaneous interpetation

The interpreter listens and speaks at the same time.

Consecutive interpretation

The speaker makes a speech or part of a speech whilst the interpreter takes notes. The interpreter then reproduces the speech in the chosen language before an audience.

Liaison interpretation

The interpreter goes back and forth between participants. This type of interpretation is prefered for meetings or events with a limited number of participants.
